Tallant Asia is looking to hire a Sales Support Specialist for an IT service provider client based in Australia.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage with clients during the purchasing process, offering tailored advice for their
- business needs.
- Scope, quote and compile proposals for hardware and software products and services, in line with margin targets.
- Liaise with established vendors and partners to obtain the best pricing.
- Organise deal registrations/bid management.
- Provide clients and internal stakeholders with regular updates about stock levels and order arrivals.
- Assist the pre-sales team in complex proposals and RFP responses.
- Work closely with the pre-sales and procurement team to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
- Stay up to date with product information and provide updates to the broader sales and operations team.
- Provide admin support to the Sales Team, as required.
Your Experience & Personal Attributes
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar IT quoting/sales support role, with international experience.
- Essential experience working for an MSP, IT distributor or similar business.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft, HP and Dell products.
- Good understanding of end user computing hardware (such as desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, headsets) and their differences, benefits, etc.
- Experience quoting other technologies highly regarded.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, commercial acumen and be self-motivated.
- Have a positive attitude and strong passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes.
